Using The GOWIPE Strategy To WIPE Out The Enemy's Base

The GOWIPE strategy, which is composed of Golems, Wizards, and P.E.K.K.As, is used by many players in Clan Wars and can bring out two stars for your team. It is used by players in Town Hall 8 and above and is being widely used when the Clan War concept began in Clash of Clans.

Requirements in Using the GOWIPE strategy:

  • MUST BE TOWN HALL 8 and ABOVE
  • Must have unlocked the PEKKA and Golem at the Barracks
  • Must have level 5 wizards
  • Must have 200 army camp capacity
Army Composition for players who have 200 army camp capacity:
  • 2 Golems
  • 2 PEKKA
  • 6 Wallbreakers
  • 16 Wizard
  • 2 Giants/ Hog Rider <Use some Hog Rider if the Clan Castle is in the Middle of the Base>
  • 2 Archers
Army Composition for players who have  220 army camp capacity:
  • 2 Golems
  • 2 PEKKAs
  • 8 Wallbreakers
  • 20 wizards
  • 2 Giants/ Hog Rider <Use some Hog Rider if the Clan Castle is in the Middle of the Base
  • 2 Archers
Spell Composition:
  • 2 Heal Spells
  •  Rage Spell
Both Must Be at Least level 3 and above

Clan Castle Composition:
If your Clan Castle is in level 3, ask your clan mates for some level 5 wizards or above. If your clan castle    is in level 4, you may ask for a high level PEKKA and remove a pekka in your barracks and replace it with some wizards. If you have a level 5 clan castle, you may ask for a high level Golem and remove a Golem in your army composition and train some wizards for the replacement.

How to Perform the Attack:

1. Lure Out the Clan Castle Troops First
It is very necessary to lure out the Clan Castle Troops first because they will decrease the percentage of your chance to hit 2-3 stars. To lure the troops inside the castle, use your Giants or Hog Riders. If you think that there's a Spring Trap where you want to deploy them, drop a single Giant in there and after 2 seconds, drop the second one. After every single troop inside the Castle is lured by the giants, drop a single archer at the area where you think that it won't be killed by the defensive buildings. If the troops were lured by the archer, you may drop the second archer or a golem <If you have a golem on your clan castle, drop it instead of your Golem in your army composition>. If you chose to drop your last archer, drop it 5-8 squares far where you drop your first archer and quickly drop 3-5 wizards. Make sure that you've dropped your wizards 1-2 squares far away from each other to prevent the wizards from the Castle to kill them. If you wish to use your golem, Drop a Golem where you dropped your fist archer and quickly deploy 5 wizards and that should kill the CC Troops.

2. Drop your wizards behind your Golem
Drop some 7 wizards behind the First Golem that you've dropped and 2 Wallbreakers. If the Golem had lost 3/4 of its health points, drop the first Heal Spell on the area where the wizards would also be healed.

3. Drop your Second Golem
After you've dropped your first heal spell, deploy your second Golem at the area where you first dropped your first archer and deploy the rest of your wizards. Do not forget to deploy some wallbreakers to make a path for your troop on the Town Hall.

4. Deploy your PEKKAs
When the path to the Town Hall is cleared by your Troops, Deploy the two PEKKAs and your Hero. Make Sure that the Path is Cleared or else, they would just re-route and attack the outside structures. Drop the last Heal and Rage Spells when your troops reached the Town Hall.

Personal Experience on this strategy:
I've been using this strategy when my Barbarian King is unavailable when it is being upgraded and the PEKKAs are acting as "Meat Shields" For my Archer Queen together with my Golem. When I'm using this strategy, getting a star has 80% chance rate and 60% chance rate in getting 2 stars while 10% chance in hitting  stars because Town Hall 9 with upgraded defenses are hard to perfect. The Disadvantage of this strategy is the PEKKA and your heroes re-routing and destroying the outside structures of the enemy's base.   To prevent this from happening, make sure to clear the outside structures first before deploying them. If they would re-route, the chance of having a star is 85% while hitting 2 stars would be 30%.

Using the BAG strategy in farming Resources in Clash of Clans

The Barbarian, Archer, Goblins strategy (also known as the "BAG") is widely used by players in Farming resources in the game. It can be used by players whose town hall level is in 6 above. If you're on Town Hall 6, you may also use the BARCH Strategy or the Giant-Healer Strategy if you're currently on Town Hall 6. You can perform 3-4 raids per hour using this strategy if you're queuing some troops first before you perform the raid.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Must Be at TOWN HALL LEVEL 6 above
2. Tier 1 Troops (Barbarians, Archers, Goblins) and Wallbreakers should be at least level 4
3. Army Camp Capacity should be at 200

ARMY COMPOSITION FOR THIS STRATEGY:
50 Archers
50 Barbarians
84 Goblins
8   Wallbreakers

Note: If your army camp composition is still below 200 (for Town Hall 6) , you may customize the number of troops. Make sure that your archers and Barbarians won't reach below 30 and the goblins below 60. The wallbreaker's number is fixed because they are very necessary if the loot is located in the storages

SPELL COMPOSITION:
Note: Spells are not really necessary for this strategy but if the loot is located in the storages, they can be necessary.
2 Heal Spells
1 Rage Spell

Before proceeding make sure to read my post in Finding The Right Base To Attack before you proceed reading.

How to perform this strategy if the loot is located in the collectors:

1. Lure Out The Clan Castle Troops First and Heroes if Possible First!
Make sure to drop your first barbarians to nearest point of the Clan Castle to know if there are some irritating troops inside. If there are some troops inside, take it to the corner of the base and take them down with some barbarians and archers.

2. Check for some suspicious areas/gaps that may contain some traps
Do not deploy your troops aggressively on a particular area for it may contain some traps. Deploy a single troop first and make them act as a "minesweeper".

3. Use some archers to attack the structures which are out of the range of the defensive structures
Using your troops efficiently is also one of the keys in farming resources. Deploying a single archer on a defenseless structure is more efficient than using 5 barbarians.

4. Deploy your Goblins on the collectors of the base
Place your Goblins at the nearest point where the collector/s is/are located . You may also use some archers to back up the goblins. The ratio in placing the goblins is 7 goblins per collector. If the goblins did not completely destroy all of the collectors from the base you may use the barbarians and archers.

5. Deploy your barbarians with some backup archers on the structures that are located outside the base to hit 50%
Barbarians can be easily distracted from other structures so you may leave that duty to the goblins. Make sure to drop them by batch and at 2 different sides if possible to prevent the splash damaging defenses to kill all of them. You may drop them by 20 per side with some archers backing them up.

6. You may also use your Clan Castle troops and Hero to Hit 50%
If you want to save your troops and hit 50%, you may also use your Hero and Clan Castle troops if you have any. Make sure that the troops inside your Clan Castle are Archers and Barbarians not Giants and Goblins.

How To Perform this strategy if the loots are located in the storages:
This strategy may be hard to apply on a base that has its loots inside the storage (specially if you have level 3 troops). A Barbarian King is recommended in this scenario.

4. Deploy your barbarians with some backup archers on the side where the storage are near.
Place your 20-30 barbarians on the nearest side where the goblins can easily enter and attack the storages located inside the base. Back up these troops with some archers. Deploy the wallbreaker to easily break the wall making the barbarian to penetrate easily. Use them to aid your barbarians in entering the base

5. Deploy your Barbarian King with the remaining 20 barbarians (If you have unlocked it)
Place your barbarian king where the barbarians have entered and when it entered the base, drop a Heal Spell where it could heal all of the barbarians with the Barbarian King.

6. Drop your goblins to the area where the Barbarians entered
Drop your Goblins to the area where the Barbarians have entered and drop a heal spell on them if the heal that you've dropped for the Barbarians wore off. Support these goblins with the remaining archers you have. Place the Rage Spell on the goblins when it reached the Storage. Deploy some wallbreakers to aid them to the storage if it is still not destroyed.

Personal Experience with this strategy:
My Experience with this strategy is moderate. I've started to use this strategy when I reached town Hall 7 and I stole 700 K-800 K per hour using this strategy. I would still recommend BARCH over this strategy but this is still worth of try.

Farming resources in Clash of Clans FAST!

Are Tired in using you farming strategy in Clash of Clans? Did you get a huge amount of resources? In this guide, I will be showing you how to farm resources in Clash of Clans easily and quickly!

Farming in Clash of Clans is  defined as stealing huge amount of gold and elixir from other player's base. Farming resources is strategically performed by players who seek more resources to upgrade their base's structure level. After you've read this guide, you will be farming like a Boss!

Minimum Requirements:
*Must be at LEAST TOWN HALL 7 and above ( can be also performed at TOWN HALL 6 but not recommended)

*Tier 1 troops ( Barbarian, Archer, and Goblin) , Giant, and Wallbreaker must be at LEAST LEVEL 4

* The Army Camp capacity should be 200

Troop / Army Composition:

10 Giants
54 Archers
40 Goblins
40 Barbarians
8 Wallbreakers

Note: Before Searching make sure to train archers on your barracks to speed things up

Spell Composition:
All Heal Spells
These heal spells would be necessary if you would decide to use your giants.

Before you proceed, read my guide on how to find the right base to attack to make your raids more efficient and less time consuming.CLICK HERE

How to perform the farming raid if the loot is located at the collectors:

1. Lure Out the Clan Castle Troops and Heroes if Possible FIRST
The first thing that your'e going to do is to lure out the clan castle troops. If this procedure is neglected, those defensive troops can be a really pain for this strategy . Lure them first and beat them in the dark alley which is in the area that is not in the range of the defensive structures in the base.

2. Check for Suspicious Areas/Gaps Which May Contain Traps
Traps can ruin your raiding strategy. If you've put your troops aggressively in a location where a giant bomb is strategically placed, you will reduce your chance to get the loots available. To avoid this scene, do not aggressively deploy your troops. Deploy a single unit first to make them act as a minesweeper in the suspicious areas/gaps that may contain hideous traps.

3. Attack the Out of Range Structures First with Archers
The reason why you've brought many archers is to make them attack the structures that are out of range where they won't be attacked by the defensive structures so that you can save troops and increase your chance of success.

4. Deploy Your Barbarians With Some Backup Archers to the Collectors Without Structures that can Distract Them
Deploy your barbarians and archers to the collectors with the ratio of 4 barbarians and 3 archers: 1 collector. Make sure to leave some to get at least 1 star or 50%

5. Deploy your Goblins to the Collectors that has Structures that can Distract Barbarians and Archers
Deploy your goblins to the collectors with the ratio of 5 goblins:1 collector. If there are some goblins left, use them to clear the other collectors that are not completely destroyed by the barbarians and archers.

6. Use Your Remaining Troops to Clear Other Structures to Hit 50%
Always try to hit 50% in your raids to keep your trophies and stay in your trophy range. If your'e out of barbarians, you can use 1-5 Giants to act as "meat shields" for your archers but don't get disappointed if you didn't hit 50% because you can easily earn trophies by hunting Farming Bases while searching. You may also use you hero/es to reach 50%

How To Perform The Farming Raid Strategy if the Loot is Located at the Storage

1. Carefully Assess if the Base is Worth it to Use all of your troops and spells
If you've seen an ideal base with 200 k + combined resources located at the storages, ask yourself if you can take on that base with your troops. If that base has a very strong defenses, you may keep on searching for another base and . Also check the placement of the storage before performing the attack. Don't bother to attack if the storages are too far away from each other for the chances are critically low especially if the splash damaging structures are in high level.

2. Do the Same Steps 1 to 3 Above
After you've carefully assessed that base, do the same first 3 procedures above.

3. Drop Your Giants in the place where the Storages are Nearly Placed
Before dropping your Giants, drop a goblin first to check for some traps. Drop your Giants and wallbreakers to the side where the goblins can access the storages easily.

4. Deploy Some Archers and Barbarians to Backup your Giants
Make sure to deploy your barbarians and archers by batch to effectively perform this strategy. You can deploy them by 10s to prevent splash damaging structures in killing them.

5. Deploy Some Archers and Barbarians on the Collectors
This procedure would prevent your goblins from roaming around and will directly attack the storages inside the walls with the Giants acting as the Meat Shields

6. Drop a Heal Spell when the Health of the Giants Reached Half.
When you've noticed that the health bar of your giants hit half, quickly drop your heal spell in a place where they will stay longer. Only use the other Heal Spell if necessary.

7.  Drop your Goblins Where the Giants Entered
When you've done the procedure above correctly, the Goblins will run straight to the storages and grab the loot available. You may use the other heal spell on them if they run beside the Giants hitting two birds with one stone.

8. You may Drop your Hero if you have one
If you have your hero, you can also drop it to the area where the Giants have entered. It can help the goblins to grab the available loot in the storages.

My Experience with this strategy:
I've been using this same strategy when I was in Town Hall 7 until now (currently Town Hall 9). Using this strategy, I usually grabbed 800 K- 1 M combined resources per hour and it depends if there are a lot of abandoned bases. I'm spending 20 k - 80 k in finding bases (The searching cost is high because i'm in town hall 9) and it took me 5-10 mins. If you would use this strategy, strengthen up your patience because after all, Patience is the key to success in Clash of Clans.

The Ultimate Farming Base for Town Hall 8

Tips used by PRO players in Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans is one of the best MMO-based game developed in the Android / IOS platform. It was developed by the Supercell and became a widely known game. Being strong in this great online game takes time and effort. These tips will guide you to achieve your goals to be successful as quickly as possible.

TIP # 1: BE ACTIVE
In order to become one of the greatest players, you need to stay active. Always check and open your account to keep unwanted visitors off your lawn

TIP # 2: DO AT LEAST 3-5 RAIDS PER DAY
Resources is the key to strengthen your base. It is very essential in order to upgrade your base structures such as the defenses, camps, collectors, etc. The resources provided by mine collectors and elixir pumps are insufficient to provide your base's needs. That's why performing daily raids boosts your progress to be successful.

TIP # 3: COLLECT THE MINES AND RESOURCES FROM YOUR PUMPS DAILY
You need to collect the resources from your daily collectors. Even though it's not enough to boost your progress, it is still necessary for other players will be attracted to attack you for they can steal 50% of the amount of your collectors plus the amount of resources present in your precious storage.

TIP # 4: UPGRADE OTHER STRUCTURES/TROOPS FIRST BEFORE UPGRADING YOUR TOWN HALL
Make sure to upgrade your defensive structures, collectors, storage, camps, etc. before you start to upgrade your town hall level. This is more efficient and convenient because you need stronger defenses before upgrading to defend your base from stronger attacks performed by stronger players compared to your previous Town Hall Levels. Upgrading your troops first is also essential because you need a stronger army to perform successful raids on a higher town hall level.

TIP # 5: NEVER RUSH BEYOND YOUR TOWN HALL LEVEL 7

It is not advisable and recommended to upgrade your town hall without maximizing your structure's base level and your troop's level first. Do not rush your town hall all the way to the Town Hall 4 as suggested by many players. Rushing your Town Hall has many disadvantages. On of them is the increase of the cost in searching bases during raids and the possible loot that you may obtain from the lower level bases will shrink.

TIP #6: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR BUILDERS BUSY

It is very necessary to keep your builders upgrading something to speed things up. If you're keeping your builders busy, the time that you will consume on that current town hall level will be reduced and your base will improve fast. Keeping your builders busy also prevents other players from stealing your precious resources because it will be allocated for upgrading a structure.

TIP #7: TRY TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO PLAY CLASH OF CLANS

Real life friends can help you to become successful and stronger. They can help and give you some advice and strategy that they've been experienced personally. Real-life friends are also essential in building a successful and strong clan.

TIP # 8: KEEP PLAYING AND NEVER GIVE UP!
Do not stop playing and keep going! There will be times that you would think to give up and stop playing because you're frustrated in saving and collecting resources for the upgrade of your base. I think that if you keep playing, your progress will improve and you will be stronger!

Essential Tips in Finding the Right Trophy Range for Town Hall 6 above

Trophy range is essential in performing raids for it affects the types of base that you will encounter while searching but in Town Hall 2-4, trophy range isn't really quite necessary. If you're below the right trophy range, the bases that you would see may contain small amount of loot than recommended which is 100 k both Gold and Elixir. If you're above the right range, you might see plenty of bases which is too strong to take on. These are some tips for you to know if you're in the right trophy range:

If you're seeing too many lower/higher level bases than your current base, YOU'RE NOT IN THE RIGHT TROPHY RANGE

If you're currently at Town Hall 7 and you're seeing 11 Town Hall level six below out of your 20 searches, try to increase your cups to see the difference but do not increase it too much for you might find most of the bases you can't defeat

If you're not seeing bases with 100k+ each gold and Elixir out of 15-20 searches, YOU'RE BELOW THE RIGHT TROPHY RANGE

If you're still searching for a base after 10 minutes and you can't find a base with the right loot which is 100 k each of Gold and Elixir, better try to raise your cups but WORRY NOT! There are sometimes that the loots that you will find are low specially after a game/system update. There are more active players playing the game compared to regular days after a system update which means that the chance of seeing an abandoned base is gradually low.

Recommended Farming Trophy Range for different Town Halls:

NOTE: This trophy ranges may not be so much accurate but can help you to find the right range. These Trophy ranges are based from various players who claimed the right range for their town hall level.

Town Hall 2-4: Anywhere Below 800

Town Hall 5:  800-1000

Town Hall 6: 900-1100

Town Hall 7: 1100-1400

Town Hall 8: 1200-1500

Town Hall 9: 1800-2100

Town Hall 10: 2000-2300

Perfect Solutions in Finding the Right Base to Attack for TH 6 and above

Are you frustrated and confused if the base that you've found is the right base to attack? Then you've come to the right place because in this guide I will be showing you how to find the right base to attack and get the loots present in that base.

Look for Bases with 200 k+ combined Gold and Elixir Resources
If you've seen a base with 140 k combined loot, click next right away. It is not advisable/ recommended to attack this kind of base for the profit is too low and your time for training troops will be wasted.

Check if the loot is located in the storage or collectors
If you've seen a base with 400 k combined loot, the next step that you're going to do is to find whether the loot is located in the storage or the collectors. It is easy to determine where the loots are located. The loots are located in the mines and collectors if its full and the gold and elixir storage are barely empty (especially if those storage are level 10 and below)

Check if the Base has an Inactive Owner
You can tell that the owner of a base is inactive if it contains full collectors, empty storages, has a lot of tombstones around his base, and currently doesn't have a league. If that's the case, attack that base immediately with some archers and goblins!

Check where the collectors and storages are located
The next step that you're going to do if you've seen a base with great loot is to find where the collectors and storages are located. If the loot is located in the storages and the storages are far from each other with a high level defenses, click next if you don't bring your giants with you for Tier 1 troops ( Barbarians, Goblins, and Archers) will just be pinned but there's a slight chance of success if they will be deployed by batch but I won't still recommend it.

Examples of Gold Mines:

The first gold mine (1) has 75 000-100000 gold in it (you can steal 37 500- 50 000 from a single one)

The second gold mine (2) has 50 000 - 75 000 gold in it (you can steal 25 000-50 000 from a single one)

The third gold mine (3) has 20 000-50 000 gold in it (you can steal  10 000-25 000 from a single one which will not give you a big                                                                profit)

NOTE: You can safely tell that the elixir is also located in the collectors if you've seen a base with 400 k + combined loot if it has the (#2 from the example above) gold mines.

Do not be tricked if you've seen a base with a 500 k+ combined loot (200 000 gold and 300 000 elixir) with level 11 empty gold storages. Check if the collectors are empty. If the collectors are just like #3 from the example above, there are only 120 000 gold present in the collectors and the other   80 000 gold are present in the storages.

This base contains 500 k+ combined resources where the 100 k gold is located inside the gold storages and the other 190 000 is in the collectors . This goes the same for the elixir resources. But in  kind of base, where most of the storages are outside the walls, is one of the typical rare base for serious farmers and the troops that I brought are one of the best efficient troops that can be used to grab all of the resources present in this base.

Example of a tricky base:

Example of the ideal base to attack:

Just be patient in finding ideal bases to attack. It is better to attack abandoned bases than bases that requires you to use all of your troops which is will be a disadvantage for your time and profit. But this kinds of bases are rare to find. The average time that I am using to find ideal bases is 8-10 mins. in the crystal league. Good luck in finding the right base!
